Weight Loss and You in a New YearPosted on 02.02.2010 : Authored by Matthew Eddington
The weight loss calculation is simple, burn more calories than you consume, but fitting that into our busy schedules can be difficult. And trying to follow fad diets or the eating habits of a friend who swears up and down, "This diet works like magic, I wasn't even hungry," can lead us to disappointment and surrender. The real problem is that everyone is different. Our body types are different, our "problem areas" are all different, and our bodies treat food differently. So as a general rule trying to follow a regimen set for the masses, may not also be best for personal success. The most important step in getting and staying healthy is establishing a personally tailored plan. A personally altered exercise plan is the best way to get your body looking and feeling the way you want it. Targeting specific muscle groups, or belly rolls after all that holiday cooking, is the best way to get your body working for you. Personal trainers are educated in the body and muscle groups and how the body works to get you looking your best. While many use the excuse they do not want to pay, those who do not get personalized system end up wasting money on diet food they never eat, an exercise machine that sits in the empty room, or a closet full of clothes "you'll wear when you get in shape". Spending money on a trainer is the best because they can also give you skills to help you stay in shape and keep the weight off even after the training sessions come to an end. It is a simple concept, weight loss is about YOU! Set your own specific and attainable goals, determine the areas you wish to change or tone, and then find a trainer or a system that works specifically for YOU! If getting in to shape or losing weight is your resolution for 2010, make this the year you succeed and set up a personal work out plan! Related Topics :: Weight Loss |
