Cheap and Easy Energy For Your WorkoutPosted on 02.22.2010 : Authored by Maureen Kurman
The first thing I want to talk about might seem like common sense, but it is neglected alot by many gym goers. You need to eat before you train. Food is how your body produces energy in the first place. Each piece of food that you eat contains energy you will need to perform your exercises. The amount of energy in your food is expressed by the number of calories. Here are some good foods for a quick energy boost. Always keep fruits in mind because of the sugar and the high levels of vitamins and nutrients that they provide. As far as supplements go, using caffeine is a great way to get a quick shot of energy. But as with any supplement it should be used in moderation. Using too much caffeine will cause you to become jittery, and unfocused. On the other hand, when used in moderation it will cause you to become more focused. Caffeine is cheap also, all you will need to do is grab a 69 cent cup of coffee. Another good thing about caffeine is that you will feel the effects very fast, so timing will not be an issue. Another cheap and effective way to get the energy you need for the gym is to use different methods of raising your level of motivation. I like to use media as a great way to get inspired. Once you raise your level of motivation, you will also find that your energy level will also shoot up. Cranking up your favorite tunes, or watching your favorite training video are good ones. Since your energy levels are dependent on many different factors, you should continue to search for what works the best for your own personal needs. These ideas that are presented here are all inexpensive and effective ways that everyone can use to raise their energy and get a great workout. Related Topics :: Training |
